Hi! I’m Anita Oze from Living Xtras. I'm a property and renovation consultant and my purpose is to provide home owners with practical and affordable solutions when looking to buy, renovate or sell. I'm the place to start when you don't know where to start!
Some property owners are needing to add value, comfort and functionality to their home. Some property owners may be just wanting to update the style of their home with affordable cosmetic renovations. Others may need help to prepare their home for sale or rent. Ultimately you need the best return on investment and design. If you don't have the time, ability or knowledge to do so yourself, or you feel lost, stuck or overwhelmed by the process, you don't have to be. Let's do it together. I create solutions that work for your circumstances, whether you are renovating to sell or for your own needs. My role is to educate, support and assist you through the process.
Why would you choose to work with me? I not only have the qualifications but also the experience buying, renovating and selling homes. I'm a qualified interior designer and licensed real estate agent. I've been a property owner and investor over 3 States of Australia for nearly 25 years. I was never in the financial position to build new properties. So I bought the old, tired neglected properties most people refuse to buy and added functionality and value with renovations. To date, I have personally purchased 13 properties (and sold 9) whilst cosmetically renovating 9. I have also helped many others to do the same. I do not say this to impress you! But rather give you an idea of how much experience, knowledge, mistakes (mistakes are actually lessons) and successes I have had. This stuff is not taught in school!
Renovating and preparing a home for sale requires a multitude of considerations including decluttering, planning and budgeting, repairs and maintenance, landscaping and more. Doing it all on your own with no advice, reliable trade referrals or time limitations, is so challenging. Having moved interstate, gone through divorce and settling a deceased estate, I needed several properties to be sold or refinanced quickly. I understand more than ever the challenges renovating and selling your home has, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well.
So now it's my time to give and be of service to others. I like to take a more holistic view on property. If I can share just one idea or piece of information that brings new awareness to you and how to best navigate forward, then I know how life changing that can be.
