Hi! I’m Anita Oze from Living Xtras. As a renovation consultant, my purpose is to help busy property owners to sell their home for more. Some property owners may be ready to go straight on the market. Others may need help to prepare their home for sale with simple and affordable cosmetic renovations and staging because they don't have the time, ability or knowledge to do so themselves. I create solutions that work for your circumstances, whether you are renovating to sell or renovating for profit (rental).
My past experience includes being a licenced real estate agent, qualified interior designer, property owner and investor for over 20 years. I could never buy brand new properties. So over the years, I have purchased 12 properties (and sold 9) whilst cosmetically renovating 8. I do not say this to impress you! But rather give you an idea of how much experience, knowledge, mistakes (mistakes are actually lessons) and successes I have had. This stuff is not taught in school!
Renovating and preparing a home for sale requires decluttering, planning and budgeting, repairs and maintenance, landscaping and more. Doing it all on your own with no advice, reliable trade referrals or time limitations, is so challenging. Having moved interstate and gone through a marriage separation which required several properties to be sold or refinanced at the same time, I understand more than ever the challenges renovating and selling your home has, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well.
